Dr. Bertell Recovering from Open Heart Surgery

On November 20, 2003, our much revered and loved Founder and President Emeritus underwent successful surgery for an aortic valve replacement in Philadelphia. She is now convalescing under the wonderful care of her fellow Grey Nun Sisters. True to form, Rosalie attended and spoke at an event put on by the Sisters of St. Joseph at D’Youville College on November 15, only a few days before.We hope you will join us in sending many good wishes and prayers for her speedy recovery.
