Many processed beverages and foods contain elevated levels of fluoride? The elevated levels are due to the use of fluoridated water and the ubiquitous presence of fluoride from perticides. Total fluoride exposure has increased substantially since the early days of fluoridation of our drinking water. Exposures are from many sources including: perticide residues, tootpaste, mechanixall de-boned meat, air pollution and processed foods and beverages prepared with fluoridated water.
